who we are: working gradually & hopefully toward a self-sufficient, sustainable lifestyle...keeping a record what we do - or attempt to do - on the way (gardening, raising chickens, preserving food, becoming less dependent on the energy grid, etc.)...and we are definitely learning as we go...

The plant you gave me didn’t survive, I think, but your poppies are so lovely – as are the photographs. The pink ones (in the other picture) are so unusual!
