Things that are Blowing Up

Random…but worth mentioning. Here are the things that are doing surprisingly well and are looking even overgrown at the moment. This is not a comprehensive list. The poppies, the mint, the huge shrub we pulled out yesterday, the grass on the hill — all these and more are blowing up but they are either mentioned in other recent posts or I just don’t feel like taking a picture (i.e. the grass).
Hostas
We cut this bamboo all the way to the ground last fall; some of it was 20 feet tall then. Now it is 4 – 5 feet tall already:

Most of the vegetables:
Lettuce, Spinach, Broccoli
Especially the broccoli:

And of course, the tansy…which is not just growing big but, I’m pretty sure, working toward world domination:
