It Lives!

I was a little nervous about the asparagus we planted last Sunday since it had been moldy which necessitated a pretty drastic root trim. But we had two days of off & on rain and when I checked the bed today the spears were much taller than we expected.
So we covered them with a layer of compost & manure, then a layer of dirt so that the tips were just buried.
