Figs in Zone 5/6

We are growing a fig tree! I am super excited about this because there is nothing better than a fresh fig. However, I was a bit disappointed by the six inch “tree” that came in the mail:

Well, it is a dwarf tree.
I wasn’t aware we could even grow figs here but did some reading up and it turns out that if you pot the tree and move it indoors over winter you can have a productive plant.
