Eggs Who?

One of our neighbors just stopped by with some fresh eggs to sell. I just thought…how fabulous to live in a neighborhood where people go door to door selling eggs! And not just any eggs, these are really good eggs. Anyone want some fresh eggs? We now have 3 dozen in our refrigerator (we are actually taking some to someone else…or else I will have to be making an angel food cake in a week or so…)
Why aren’t all neighborhoods like this? Can we bring back milk delivery, too? And fishmongers and street-hawkers with apple carts? Etc.
