is it legal to keep chickens in the city?

The legality of having chickens within city limits seems to be a common question. It is different in every city. When I lived in Sharonville I could have had chickens but they would have had to stay 50 ft from all property lines. In Cincinnati the laws are more lenient. Basically, they can’t smell bad or have flies & I’d say that is pretty reasonable. Check out the Municipal Code (ยง 00053-11) for details.
