Under Construction

These are our fence posts…look more like giant logs to me but I guess that’s what fence posts look like when you don’t buy them at home depot. These were delivered from Williamstown KY (we bought them off Craigslist, where I do most of my shopping these days). Josh carried these all the way down the driveway because he is a hero. Now all we have to do is dig some giant post holes, plant the posts and put up the fence. Hmmm…that’s all? That sounds like SO MUCH WORK…but we have to do it so that our chickens can roam the yard when we are not at home and also to discourage our local groundhog population from eating everything in the garden. So I will not complain, even when I am helping carry a two hundred pound log down the hill to the creekbed and there are spiders on it. Or at least I will try not to complain much.
